Profile:

Julius Adesanwo obtained all his University degrees at Nigeria’s Premier University, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, viz, B.Sc (Hons) Chemistry (1982), M.Sc Industrial Chemistry (1985), M.Phil Organic Chemistry (1995) and PhD Organic Chemistry (2002). He joined the services of the Chemistry Department, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 2007.

Area of Specialisation / Research Interest:

Organic/Natural Products Chemistry with focus on:

  • Isolation and Structure Determination of Plant Secondary Metabolites;
  • Syntheses of Derivatives of Bioactive Natural Products;
  • Extraction and Characterisation of oils from Natural Products.
