Adetokunbo Famojuro graduated with a B. Tech in Pure and Applied Chemistry from Ladoke Akintola university of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, (2002), after which she obtained an M.Sc and a PhD in Chemistry at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (2010 and 2017, respectively). Ms. Famojuro joined the services of the Chemistry Department, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, in 2006.

In 2011, Ms. Famojuro was awarded the Junior Scientist Academy Award, iThemba Labs, Cape Town, South Africa. She is a member of the Chemical Society of Nigeria and the Institute of Chartered Chemist of Nigeria.

Area of Specialisation / Research Interest:

She is presently working on developing supramolecular inorganic crystals through self-assembly method for application in solar cells panel. This includes designing inorganic crystals of nano particle sizes, preferably one-dimensional coordinating polymers with layered crystal lattices. Fabrication of appropriate structural templates with electron conducting property is also being considered.
