Abolanle Adekunle obtained his B.Sc (Hons) Chemistry from University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State in 2000 and M.Sc in Analytical Chemistry from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (2005). He then moved to University of Pretoria, South Africa, where he bagged a PhD in Analytical Chemistry (2011).

Julius Adesanwo obtained all his University degrees at Nigeria’s Premier University, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, viz, B.Sc (Hons) Chemistry (1982), M.Sc Industrial Chemistry (1985), M.Phil Organic Chemistry (1995) and PhD Organic Chemistry (2002). He joined the services of the Chemistry Department, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 2007.

Temitayo Aiyelabola holds B.Sc (Hons) and M.Sc degrees in Chemistry from the University of Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria. She also has to her credit a PhD in the area of Inorganic Chemistry from Obafemi Awolowo Univerity, Ile-Ife (2012). Dr. Aiyelabola joined the services of the Chemistry Department, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 2008.

Temitope Ajayeoba obtained all his qualifications from University of Ibadan, viz., B.Sc (Hons) Chemistry (1998), M.Sc Inorganic Chemistry (2002) and PhD. Chemistry 2017. Dr. Ajayeoba was appointed member of staff of the Chemistry Department, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, in 2011.

Dr. Ajayi started his academic career as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria in December 2006. He became Lecturer II in October 2012. He was awarded the 2011 TETFund Academic Staff Training and Development Grant to visit Prof. R.R.T. Majinda’s Phytochemistry Laboratory, Department of Chemistry, University of Botswana, Gaborone, Botswana, in March, 2013 to carry out some aspect of his PhD research work. He returned in August, 2013.

In the field of molecular recognition, and in particular the development of artificial recognition elements. Towards this end I use a technique known as Molecular Imprinting.

Winston Doherty obtained his B.Sc (Hons) and M.Sc degrees from the Chemistry Department, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 1998 and 2006, respectively. He then proceeded to Monash University, Australia, where he is currently pursuing a PhD degree in the area of Inorganic Chemistry. Mr. Doherty joined the services of the Chemistry Department, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, in 2000.
