Short Bio, Academic, and Research Activities:
A Senior Lecturer at Department of Chemistry, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. Nigeria. As an organic Chemist, my research interest is in the design and development of new therapeutic agents by the synthesis of biologically active heterocyclic compounds that may be derivatized to generates an array of new compounds which may be screened for their pharmacological activity, in vivo or in vitro for the purpose of identifying a lead molecule which can be further optimized by synthetic modification. My research interest in the design of heterocyclic drug like molecules has enabled me to develop advanced skills in synthetic organic methodology as well as spectroscopic techniques.
