Grace Ogunlusi holds three degrees from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, viz., B.Sc (Hons) Chemistry (1998), M.Sc in Physical Chemistry (2005) and PhD Chemistry (2010). She joined the services of the Department of Chemistry, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 2000.
Dr. Ogunlusi joined as a member of staff of the Department of Chemistry, Obafemi Awolowo University in 2000. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Chemists (ICCON), Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), Organisation for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD) and American Chemical Society, USA. She is a Staff Adviser to different students’ groups at the Obafemi Awolowo University (including the Student’s Chemical Society) and a regular speaker at Seminars and Talks- providing the teeming youths helpful guidance on career choice and development, skill acquisitions, job uptake, etc. Dr. Mrs. Ogunlusi is the Faculty of Science Deputy Coordinator for Gender Focal Point Initiative. She is currently serving as the deputy director, Linkages and Partnership Office of the Obafemi Awolowo; promoting linkages and partnerships between OAU and other institutions/organizations both locally and internationally.

Area of Specialization / Research Interest:
Physical/Inorganic Chemistry with specific interest in Reaction Kinetics and Mechanism of the reactions of Transition Metal Complexes; Surfactant Systems; Reaction Mechanisms in Organized Medium and Theoretical Chemistry.
